This 1.5m Square Tilting Parasol provides reliable shade coverage for compact outdoor dining and seating areas, making it ideal for cafés, restaurants, hospitality venues, and commercial outdoor spaces. Designed for durability and ease of operation, the parasol features a strong 38mm pole manufactured from certified sustainable hardwood, offering long-lasting structural stability in frequent-use environments.
Operation is streamlined via a smooth pulley lift system, allowing quick canopy deployment and adjustment. The two-part pole design unscrews easily, supporting efficient storage, transport, and installation. An acorn-style aluminium finial completes the parasol, delivering a clean, professional finish while enabling straightforward canopy removal for cleaning and maintenance.
The polyester canopy incorporates a vented design to help reduce wind pressure and improve airflow during breezy conditions. A water-repellent coating provides protection against light rain, while integrated UV inhibitors (UVIs) help preserve fabric colour and extend service life under prolonged sun exposure. The canopy is fully washable and removable via the finial for convenient upkeep.
For operational safety and longevity, parasols should be closed during periods of non-use or in high winds. Use of the included protective cover is recommended to maximise canopy lifespan.
When used as a free-standing unit, we recommend pairing this parasol with a heavy-duty granite base (25kg or 70kg) to ensure stability in commercial settings. If site conditions are uncertain, professional installation advice is advised.
